Case study: Amba in action.

Tiffany Village & Kenny’s Pond case study.

89% fewer falls was just the beginning.

Tiffany Village and Kenny’s Pond were managing similar challenges of most senior living communities: stretched care teams, reactive systems and limited visibility into resident well-being between check-ins.

Amba changed that. By shifting from reaction to prevention, these communities saw an 89% reduction in falls, a 78% reduction in medication issues and a 97% reduction in hospitalizations, along with measurable increases in occupancy, retention and net operating income.

Reduced hospitalizations

Hear the Simpson Life Plan Community’s story.

When Dr. Carol McKinley, CEO of Simpson, saw the potential to improve the lives of residents and caregivers in her community, she partnered with Amba. This partnership enabled Simpson to get ahead of what traditional monitoring couldn’t catch: subtle changes in resident behavior that often go unnoticed until they become serious.

The results were significant. A 67% reduction in falls, a 35% reduction in re-hospitalizations and an 81% reduction in psychotropic drug use. For Simpson’s care teams, earlier insight means fewer crises, more confidence and more quality time focused on residents.

President, Senior Living

Where Amba began.

Built by a son, for every aging parent out there.

In 2017, Stu Hamilton watched his aging father need increasingly more care in assisted living. Unable to be with him 24/7, Stu quickly realized there was no single tool that could give him a clear, continuous picture of his dad’s well-being. So he built one.

What Stu created for his father is now helping care teams across the country do the same for thousands of residents, with the same intention behind every feature: to understand each person more fully, and care for them more effectively.

What started as one son’s solution is now transforming senior living worldwide.
